Historically the backbone of SouthPier Marine, the shipyard is known throughout the Islands and beyond for its top quality craftsmanship and facilities.

Service Centre
The purpose built workshop, allows boats up to 45' in length to be handled ashore and worked on under cover. Heating and filtration systems ensure work is of the highest quality.

Joinery
The joinery workshop is equipped to the highest standard and can facilitate all manner of tasks from traditional shipwright work to the highest quality joinery.

Osmosis Treatment
Osmosis repair and protection can be carried out on vessels up to 45' in our purpose built workshop, known as the 'Balloon Store' because it was used to store barrage balloons during the German Occupation. Heating and filtration systems ensure work of the highest quality.

Spray Shop
Our paint technicians carry out work to the highest standard in our environmentally controlled spray shop. From touch up work to complete re-sprays.

Rigging
The rigging loft contains all the tools and parts necessary to keep even the biggest yachts in safe trim. Rope and wirework, either marine or commercial, can be competently undertaken by our qualified staff. A full rigging service is available including insurance surveys. We are agents for Seldon, Harken, and Lewmar.

Transport
With our hydraulic boat traveller boats up to 34', or 10 Tons, can be delivered to you door, Island-wide. This service is comprehensively insured.

Storage
We have an area allocated specifically for secure storage of equipment, enabling owners to strip craft of valuable or vulnerable equipment and keep it in a safe and dry environment while laid up for the winter, or while work is being carried out on a craft.

Fuel Station
Marine Gas, Oil and Premium Unleaded petrol are available, at duty free prices, from four hi-speed diesel pumps and two petrol pumps providing quick and efficient delivery.

The 'station' is manned every day, between 0800 and 1900 during the summer and 0800 to 1730 (0800 to 1200 Sunday) from November to March. Boat access is available for approximately 3.5 hours either side of high water.

Shell and Quicksilver oils, along with a selected range of chandlery, are always available from the fuel station.

All major credit cards are welcome, and cash payment is accepted in either Sterling or Euros. Look out for the SHELL signs under the yacht club, opposite the harbour mouth.
